Trust, tailored tech, and “Swissness”: How Naveum and Huawei build scalable cloud solutions
(June 2025) Every business needs virtualized data infrastructure that allows it to scale up quickly. Digital cloud provider Naveum, based in Switzerland, provides infrastructure solutions tailored to the needs of IT service providers, resellers, software manufacturers, and their end customers.
To do it, Naveum uses a unified management portal from Huawei.
“It covers all the bits and pieces, from the back-up storage to the production storage to the overall networking equipment,” CTO Yves Lauber says in a new interview with Transform Talks.
“I try to make it look easy,” he tells Huawei Executive Editor-in-Chief Gavin Allen, “but it's hard work in the background. Fortunately, we are building on a strong partnership with Huawei, so we have a lot of proven technology.”
In addition to a solid, decade-long partnership with Huawei, Lauber points to what he calls Naveum’s “Swissness” as a point of competitive differentiation – highlighting its adherence to Swiss data protection laws, its personal approach to service, its trustworthiness, and its ability to offer tailored solutions to every customer.
